Dear Neal, I don’t exactly know what to call this, so I’ll call it a belated stream-of-consciousness thank-you note brought on last evening as I arrived in Roanoke and lasting into today, fully experiencing the good fortune of our mother in Brandon Oaks, and me at the Stephenson Ave apartment. And I realize that none of this would have come to fruition without you! First, thank you so much for all you did to get 3062 Carolina successfully sold, and in this terrible market! From your expert advice on pricing and staging, to your own investment in advertising and open houses, to your coming to the rescue after the flood and facilitating repairs and making sure that they were good improvements, to providing guidance on selling/auctioning household goods, to helping us clear the house and move of all the items we were taking with us, we are all truly grateful. For all of us, this was a highly emotional time – Dad was sick, Mom was making the right decision to relocate to B.O., the kids were losing our childhood home, and we were all in a stressful and emotional state. You provided the expertise, a calming manner, very high energy on our behalf, and proactive actions leading us to good decisions and a good outcome. In essence, you gave us the confidence, with your leadership, that we could do what needed to be done. And, together we did it.. Boy, am I glad that we had you on the case and on our side! As I sit writing this on Stephenson Ave, more thanks accrue to you on this front, as well. You showed me the right things for my needs and budget, again gave great advice and brought this deal to a great conclusion in record time without fuss. It is so nice after a long drive from New York (like last night), to arrive in this comfortable apartment and look forward to spending time here during all our Roanoke stays.
